Lab Exploring
Bounded Supervision
Locum educational psychologists work alone. Services rarely provide supervision, and when the HCPC asks for a CPD profile, two years are rebuilt from memory. Bounded Supervision keeps the record as the work happens. You talk for two minutes, or keep a course, a paper or a Lumipedia synthesis; it removes names, files each entry against the HCPC standards for CPD and asks you one question. Between entries it writes its own thoughts about your practice, and the profile writes itself in your own words.

The idea we are testing
Connected to the Bounded Companion
Bounded Supervision thinks about your practice the way the Bounded Companion thinks about a child: competing interpretations, weighed against what you recorded and revised when the record changes.
Where it is now
A first prototype exists. It is unfinished and changes often, so what you see may differ from what we finally release.
When it is ready, it graduates into a product or service.
Who it is for
Someone to think with, and a CPD record kept as the work happens.
A profile in the four parts the HCPC asks for, ready to paste in.
An agenda built from what the person actually recorded, not from memory on the day.
Taking part
Free while it is in the Lab. It needs an access code from Ricardo: write to him to try it, or to ask for supervision.
