Lumipedia

Lumipedia follows thousands of studies on learning, emotion and behaviour, and the authors whose work shapes the Bounded approach. Each new paper lights up its topic, with a short card on what it found, how it could be used and what it cannot show. Ask a question or describe what you have noticed, and it suggests interpretations to test, or makes what you need: an INSET day with its resources, a research summary for parents with full citations, an ELSA programme or a teaching sequence. What you try goes into your loop, and Lumipedia comes back to ask what happened.

The idea we are testing

1Knowledge that stays currentEvery day it checks new work on 23 topics and by the authors you follow. Preprints show as coming, then light up again when they are published.
2From evidence to actionDescribe a situation and get interpretations to test, or ask for something to use: an INSET day, a page for parents, an RTI analysis, a programme or a plan.
3A loop that comes backWhat you try is recorded. A week later Lumipedia asks how it went, says what to check if it did not work, and suggests the next step.

Where it is now

A first prototype exists. It is unfinished and changes often, so what you see may differ from what we finally release.

When it is ready, it graduates into a product or service.

Who it is for

Schools

Teachers, teaching assistants, SENCos, ELSAs and leaders, for planning, INSET and talking with families.

Psychologists

Educational, clinical and others, to keep up with new work and test interpretations against it.

Parents and carers

Plain explanations of what the research says, and one thing to try at home.

Anyone curious

How we learn, why we forget, and what emotions are made of, from the evidence.

Taking part

We are looking for schools in England and Portugal, psychologists and families to try a first version this school year. It works best on a computer.
