Fetwell

Fetwell is case management for educational psychologists. It runs in Edge or Chrome, as an installed app or a browser extension, keeps every file in the EP's own folders and puts the day in order: who is due, which school needs a visit, what is running late and which email to send next. Locums use it to keep several authorities apart. EPs in a service use it to see their schools, consultations, tribunals and training next to statutory work.

What it looks like

The idea we are testing

1One board for the dayToday lists the sessions, deadlines and follow-ups that need doing, read from the EP's calendar. Each meeting is marked done on its own, so a consultation with a teacher does not close the case.

2Schools at the centreFor EPs in a service, each school has a page: open cases, sessions used against the allocation, the SENCo and a log of time.

3The case at a glanceA briefing brings the request for advice, the family details and the facts gathered so far onto one page, with the child at the centre of a map.

4Emails ready to sendAvailability, delay, booking and thank-you emails come filled in from the case, ready to open in Gmail or Outlook.

Where it is now

There is nothing to try yet. We are shaping it with the people it is for, and will show it once it works.

When it is ready, it graduates into a product or service.
